FBIS Issues Management was engaged to covertly investigate and document the activities of various executives who were suspected of misusing company credit cards. Using a variety of investigative techniques, including forensic document examination, FBIS compiled detailed briefs of evidence which documented the misuse of approximately AUD5 million in company funds.

These briefs of evidence:

• Justified the client’s decision to terminate of the employment of nine executives.
• Formed the basis of subsequent litigation brought by the company against four executives.
• Resulted in two executives being brought to trial and convicted.
